YOHAIG And Fake Bet9ja Codes: Telling Them Apart
Search for a Bet9ja promotion code and you will find a dozen different strings, all presented as the official one. YOHAIG is the code. Here is how to verify any code before you commit.
Why multiple codes exist
Different codes exist because different partners issue them. Each affiliate is assigned a code, and accounts carrying that code are attributed to that partner. None of this makes them fake. It means several genuine codes are in circulation at once.
What matters to you as a bettor is that the code is live and attaches to the current offer.
Three tests
Test 1. Enter it and watch the field. Type the code into the Promotion Code field on bet9ja promo code's own registration form. If the form accepts it and completes, the code is live.
Test 2. Compare against the source. Check the bonus terms claimed by whoever gave you the code against the promotions section on bet9ja.com. Terms that differ wildly from that are worth questioning.
Test 3. Is anyone asking you for money or details? If a source asks for payment, bank details or your bet9ja promo code password to unlock a code, that is fraud, not affiliate marketing. Never give login details to a third party for any reason.
Warning signs
Being asked to pay for the code.
Anyone asking for account credentials.
Bonus claims far above the ₦100,000 cap with no terms shown.
Links pointing to lookalike domains rather than Bet9ja's own.
Promises of guaranteed winnings or fixed matches alongside the code.
