What Site Prep Involves Before Delivery
Site preparation shapes how well setup goes. The foundation needs to be correctly graded and compacted. Water, sewer and electrical connections should be brought to the site ahead of delivery. Site access matters too: the trailer needs room to manoeuvre.
Factory-built Lara Mobile Homes come across set widths. Single wides are usually around 16 feet wide, transported complete. Double wides come as two sections joined on site, providing a layout closer to a site-built home.
The install process follows several defined stages. The home is placed and levelled, after which tied down per code. For double wides the two parts are joined and the the seam gets closed and trimmed. Final connections complete the process.
Purchasing direct from the manufacturer removes the middleman which can add significant cost to what you pay. The trade-off comes as handling logistics: delivery, site prep and installation need scheduled. Choosing a supplier that handles all three avoids the main difficulty.
