Tonpetty is an NPC found in Monasteries that acts as the only way for a person to obtain Hamon

Training

Tonpetty can be trained with by right-clicking on him. This will give the Spec Hamon to the user in its weakest form. The user will not have access to any Hamon moves until they continue training with Tonpetty.

  • The first trial has the user learn to use Overdrive. This can be completed by pressing the barrage button (Default=B).
  • The second trial has the user learn to use Zoom Punch. This can be completed by killing any undead with Zoom Punch (Overdrive Heavy)
  • The third trial has the user learn to use Hamon Uppercut. This can be completed by killing a monster with Hamon Uppercut. (Overdrive Special 2)

Behavior

Tonpetty will attack any hostile mob that he sees. Sadly, he doesn't have significant HP so he can easily be overwhelmed and killed.
