The Monastery is a Buddhist styled large structure found in Mountains where Hamon can be learned from Tonpetty.

Generation

Monasteries can only be found in Mountain biomes at a very low spawn rate that makes them roughly 15-20x as rare as a village.

Structure

The Monastery is made to resemble the Tibet's Temple from part 1 of JoJo's. It consists of 3 floors, the first being a training ground where 4 Monks are separated into 2 rings. The second being a library accessible from climbing the ladder to the room behind the gong. The last highest floor is where Tonpetty resides accessible through the stairs in the library.

No chests nor valuables can be found within the Monastery. However, the Monastery is the only place where the user can obtain Hamon, making it a worthwhile stop.
