The Arrow Ruin is a structure found in Mesa biomes and built primarily out of red sandstone. The Arrow Ruin will contain a main chest hidden under Sandstone that can be accessed by solving a puzzle on the interior of the pyramid structure. Archaeology can also be performed here. They are the only way to find Requiem Arrows naturally.
Generation
Arrow Ruins spawn in Mesa biomes exclusively. However they can appear in other biomes if one part of the structure is loaded near the border of another biome. They have frequency of spawning slightly rarer than villages but are considerably rarer because of the size and rarity of Mesa biomes.
Structure

Arrow Ruins have 5 different generation options. Those being a red sandstone house, a cleric's hut, a buried pathway with a lamp, a pyramid, and an archway. The pyramid is the only one of these 5 that contains the main chest holding stand arrows. The pyramid has no direct entrance to the puzzle room and requires mining to get inside and down.
All of these structures will generate partially underground with each of the ruins having a certain amount of their structure sticking out of the sand. The pyramid will have 2-3 blocks sticking out of the sand making it easy to identify.

On the right side of the inside of the pyramid, on the lowest layer, there is a trapped* hallway with dripstone implied to drop on your head when you step on the pressure plates. However, these dripstones will not drop when a pressure plate is stepped on. At the end of the hallway, (which requires mining fences to get to) you can find a lever tucked away. Flipping this lever will deactivate sticky pistons that hide a chest on the surface-level floor of the pyramid.

This chest contains the loot described in the next section. It is the best way currently to obtain a Requiem Arrow given the recipe. The chest is also a very good way of obtaining Stand Arrows and Stand Arrowheads.
